1. About EnergyBase.ie

EnergyBase.ie is operated by JJM Advertising Limited, a company registered in Ireland (VAT IE3321002WH), with its registered office in Dublin, Ireland.

We are a lead-generation platform, not a solar installer. We connect Irish homeowners with SEAI-registered solar installer partners. We do not install, sell, or service solar panels.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using EnergyBase.ie, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. The service

EnergyBase.ie provides a free comparison and quote service. When you submit your details through our form, we pass them to our network of SEAI-registered installer partners, who may contact you to provide a quote.

• We do not charge homeowners for using our service.
• We vet that our partners are SEAI-registered, but we do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any individual installer.
• The number and quality of quotes you receive may vary depending on your location and the availability of installers in your area.

4. Your obligations

When using EnergyBase.ie, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in all forms and interactions.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Not misuse the site, including attempting to submit false or fraudulent information, interfere with the site's operation, or use automated tools to scrape or submit data.

5. Our calculator

The savings calculator on EnergyBase.ie provides estimates based on publicly available data and reasonable assumptions about energy usage, solar generation, and costs in Ireland. Results are indicative only — actual costs and savings depend on your specific circumstances, including your roof orientation, shading, energy consumption, and the installer you choose.

We are not providing financial, energy, or investment advice. You should obtain professional advice before making any decisions based on calculator results.

6. Data sharing

By submitting the quote form, you consent to your data being shared with our network of SEAI-registered installer partners, who may contact you by phone or email. For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

7. Installer relationships

Any contract you enter into with an installer is between you and that installer. EnergyBase.ie (JJM Advertising Limited) is not a party to any such contract and has no liability for the installer's work, pricing, timelines, quality of installation, or any other aspect of their service.

We strongly recommend that you verify any installer's credentials, insurance, and references independently before entering into a contract.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, branding, logos, and other materials on EnergyBase.ie are the property of JJM Advertising Limited and are protected by Irish and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of liability

EnergyBase.ie is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, JJM Advertising Limited shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from your use of the site.
• Inaccuracies in calculator estimates or any information provided on the site.
• The actions, omissions, quality of work, or conduct of any installer partner.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of EnergyBase.ie.
