About EnergyBase.ie
We're a solar information, estimate and quote-request service for Irish homeowners. We help you understand the numbers, save a secure report and, only if you choose later, ask EnergyBase to arrange installer quotes.
Our Mission
Ireland is going solar. Tens of thousands of homes made the switch in the last few years, and the numbers are growing fast. But for most homeowners, the process still feels confusing — too many companies, too many numbers, and too much pressure to sign up before you're ready.
We started EnergyBase.ie to change that. Our mission is simple:

- Make the process simple, transparent, and human — because big decisions deserve proper support.
What we believe
Every homeowner deserves clear information before their details are shared. Saving an estimate is not an installer lead. A separate, explicit confirmation inside the report is required before EnergyBase can act on an installer quote request.
How We Work

Tell us about your home
Answer a short set of questions about the property, electricity bill and system you want to explore. It takes about 60 seconds.
We save your secure report
Your estimate is saved with EnergyBase and we send an operational email link so you can reopen it. No installer is contacted at this stage.
Review and edit the estimate
Your report shows indicative cost, output and savings ranges. You can change the address or system inputs and keep using the same report.
Confirm a quote request later
If you want installer quotes, complete the extra request details and review the sharing notice inside the report before you confirm.
EnergyBase selects partners
Only after confirmation may EnergyBase select installer partners and share the information covered by that request so they can respond about a quote.
Why We're Different
Some quote sites provide little control over what happens after you submit. EnergyBase separates the saved estimate from the optional installer quote request, protects the report with an authenticated session, and keeps later edits on the same record.
Information before a decision
We don't install panels. Our guides, calculator and saved estimate help you understand the basics before you decide whether to request installer quotes.
Saving is not a lead
The short estimate journey stays with EnergyBase and its service providers. Installer sharing starts only after a separate quote request is confirmed.
